Joseph Jewett: Joe Jewett was inspired to begin violin studies by his parents' love of music and the gift of his grandfather's violin. He completed high school at Interlochen, and holds an MM degree from New England Conservatory. Joe has a thriving orchestral career which includes performances with Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Berkshire Symphony and the Arcadia Players. He has been organizing chamber readings and performances since 2007 with the goal of establishing a concert series in Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley. As a Celtic musician, Joe enjoys performing Irish, Cape Breton and Scottish styles, and finds opportunities to bring out his viola and even his most recent string acquisition, the cello. Joe is a trained conductor, having studied at the Pierre Monteux School and Boston University, and led the MIT Symphony and Spoleto Festival Orchestra.
